Senior Technical Project Manager

Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead a large-scale federal Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Modernization initiative. This role is responsible for managing the successful delivery of a cloud-based data platform transformation, replacing legacy data warehouse and reporting environments with modern analytics solutions.The ideal candidate has extensive experience leading enterprise IT modernization programs involving data warehousing, cloud technologies, ETL migration, business intelligence, Agile delivery, and stakeholder management. This individual will serve as the primary liaison between executive stakeholders, technical teams, and customer leadership while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.Required Qualifications10+ years of IT Project Management experience leading enterprise technology initiatives.5+ years managing Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Cloud Migration, or Enterprise Modernization projects.4+ years of Agile Project Management experience.Strong experience managing:Project PlansRoadmapsIntegrated SchedulesSprint PlanningRelease PlanningRisk ManagementBudget TrackingResource PlanningExecutive ReportingExperience delivering cloud-based data modernization projects.Strong understanding of:Data WarehousingETL/Data PipelinesBusiness IntelligenceData GovernanceCloud PlatformsAnalytics SolutionsExcellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.Proven ability to manage technical and non-technical teams.Experience managing project scope, cost, quality, schedule, risks, and customer satisfaction.Experience using Jira or similar Agile project management tools.Preferred QualificationsPMP CertificationCertified Scrum Master (CSM)PMI-ACPSAFe Agilist CertificationExperience managing Federal Government IT programs.Public Trust Clearance or ability to obtain one.Experience with modern cloud data platforms including:DatabricksTableauPower BIOracle Data WarehouseInformaticaAWSAzureDelta LakeUnity CatalogData LakesMedallion Architecture
