Location: Virginia – HybridWork Arrangement: HybridRate: $57–$62/hr on 1099Interview: Phone & In-PersonContract: Long-termWe are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager / Scrum Master to support a tolling modernization program focused on a new microservices architecture.Key Requirements8+ years of technical project management experience across Waterfall and AgilePMP & CSM Certifications – Required8+ years managing modernization or cloud-related projectsStrong understanding of SDLC7+ years working with development, QA and engineering teams8+ years of Scrum/Agile delivery experienceStrong experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies8+ years with Azure DevOpsExperience with Microsoft Planner Premium or similar toolsAdvanced Microsoft Excel, Visio and MS Office skillsStrong communication, organization and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work independently and take ownership of deliverablesPreferred10+ years of technical project managementExperience with microservices / API-driven environmentsExperience implementing delivery process improvementsTolling or transportation domain experienceResponsibilitiesManage project plans, schedules, resources and delivery timelinesCoordinate development, QA, cloud, security and operational teamsTrack risks, issues, scope, costs and dependenciesFacilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews and RetrospectivesSupport backlog organization with Business Analysts and Product OwnersCoordinate release planning and delivery sequencingMonitor work in Azure DevOpsDrive process, reporting and delivery improvementsEnsure compliance with VDOT and VITA project management guidelinesInterested candidates can share their updated resume along with PMP and CSM certifications.
