Apply & track with Apply EdgeJOB SUMMARY:The Senior Technology Portfolio Analyst manages a portfolio of technologies and intellectual property assets from disclosure through protection and commercialization planning. The role ensures that filing decisions, prosecution activities, and portfolio investments are guided by clear technical, market, and strategic considerations.Working closely with inventors, external patent counsel, commercialization teams, and clients, the position turns technology assessments into practical recommendations, supports timely and high-quality patent filings, and provides the insight needed to prioritize resources and define the best pathway for each asset. The role also contributes to technology roadmaps, portfolio reporting, and the preparation of marketing content, while maintaining accurate records and full compliance with institutional processes and information security requirements.JOB SCOPE:Assess invention disclosures for patentability, technical strength, and commercial potential.Conduct prior art and landscape reviews and translate the outcomes into clear filing and protection recommendations.Coordinate with external patent counsel on drafting, filing, and office action responses to ensure quality, timeliness, and cost awareness.Prepare and review formal IP documents for execution in line with institutional procedures.Identify the most suitable commercialization pathway for each asset, including potential licensing opportunities and target partners.Support portfolio prioritization and funding decisions based on business value, maturity, and strategic relevance.Contribute to the development of technology roadmaps by consolidating insights across programs and portfolios.Maintain complete and accurate portfolio data and generate reports that support operational and management decisions.Act as the main point of contact for inventors and stakeholders on portfolio matters, ensuring regular updates and alignment.Work with commercialization teams to ensure the IP position supports licensing, startup creation, and industry engagement.Support the development of technology summaries and portfolio visibility materials.Support technology marketing and participate in outreach to industry and ecosystem partners to increase the visibility and positioning of portfolio assets.Identify opportunities to improve processes, coordination, and service delivery.Coordinate with relevant internal functions to ensure timely execution of portfolio activities.Manage multiple priorities in a structured and responsive manner.Perform other related duties as assigned by the line manager.QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.Post-graduate degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.7+ years of experience in intellectual property, technology transfer, innovation management, or a related environment.Hands-on experience with patent lifecycle management and technology assessment.Exposure to commercialization, licensing, or industry collaboration activities is preferred.
