Its manufacturing network operates across multiple international sites, with a strong emphasis on quality, GMP compliance, operational excellence and reliable supply of medicines to patients worldwide.About the RoleAs Senior Technology Transfer Project Lead – Small Molecule, you will lead and coordinate technology transfer projects between pharmaceutical manufacturing sites. You will take ownership of the transfer execution from planning through completion, ensuring that projects stay on track in terms of timeline, quality, compliance, risks and deliverables. The role is highly cross-functional. You will work with manufacturing, quality, regulatory, supply chain, procurement, technical teams and external manufacturing partners, connecting the different stakeholders and making sure everyone is aligned. This is a senior project leadership position in a GMP environment. You will lead through influence rather than direct line management and will be expected to bring structure, challenge issues, drive decisions and keep complex transfers moving forward.ResponsibilitiesLead multiple Small Molecule technology transfer projects across manufacturing sites.Coordinate the transfer from the donor site to the receiving site and maintain oversight of the full execution.Establish and monitor project plans, milestones, timelines, risks and dependencies.Coordinate cross-functional teams across Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance and technical functions.Act as a key contact between manufacturing sites and global stakeholders.Identify issues and risks early and drive their resolution to keep projects on schedule.Establish effective project governance, reporting and communication structures.Support teams with transfer methodologies, project tools, best practices and decision-making.Coordinate activities related to change controls, deviations, technical protocols and technical reports.Support regulatory and compliance activities associated with technology transfers.Work with teams involved in qualification, validation and transfer documentation.Collaborate with CMOs and other external manufacturing partners when required.Coach and support project teams and transfer sponsors.Contribute to improving technology transfer processes, standards and ways of working across the organization.Travel internationally approximately 10–20% as required.QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences or another relevant scientific/technical discipline.10+ years of relevant experience within technology transfer, technical operations, manufacturing operations, product development or a closely related pharmaceutical environment.Required SkillsStrong experience with Small Molecule pharmaceutical products and manufacturing processes.Solid understanding of GMP requirements and pharmaceutical regulatory expectations.Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional projects in a pharmaceutical or similarly regulated environment.Experience with technology transfer execution between manufacturing sites.Good knowledge of change control, deviation management, technical protocols, technical reports and regulatory documentation.Strong experience in project planning, project controlling, risk management and milestone tracking.Comfortable working in a matrix organization and leading teams without direct authority.Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation and influencing skills.Ability to manage several projects and priorities simultaneously while maintaining focus on critical deliverables.Experience with MS Project and common Microsoft Office/SharePoint/Teams tools.Working knowledge of qualification and process validation.Fluent English, both written and spoken.Experience working with international and multicultural teams.Willingness to travel internationally approximately 10–20%.German or French is considered an advantage.
