The successful candidate will work closely with developers, QA professionals, and product teams to identify risks, validate system functionality, and strengthen testing coverage throughout the software development lifecycle.This part-time, fully remote opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented testing professional with strong automation skills, analytical thinking, and a commitment to delivering dependable software.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and reusable testing frameworks.Create and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end automated tests.Analyze business requirements and technical specifications to develop effective test strategies and test cases.Identify, document, track, and verify software defects through resolution.Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and reliable releases.Evaluate test results, investigate failures, and identify root causes of recurring issues.Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to improve test coverage and software quality.Maintain test documentation, automation reports, test data, and quality metrics.Identify opportunities to reduce repetitive manual testing and improve automation efficiency.Support performance, API, and cross-platform testing where appropriate.Recommend improvements to testing standards, tools, workflows, and quality assurance practices.RequirementsBachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.At least 3 years of relevant software testing, QA automation, or test engineering experience preferred.Strong knowledge of test automation principles, test design, and software testing methodologies.Hands-on experience with tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.Programming or scripting experience in Python, Java, JavaScript, or another relevant language.Familiarity with API testing tools, version control systems, and CI/CD platforms.Understanding of Agile development, defect tracking, and software release processes.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.What We OfferFlexible part-time hours and a fully remote work arrangement.Opportunities to work with modern automation frameworks and software delivery practices.A collaborative environment that encourages technical innovation and knowledge sharing.Opportunities to improve testing expertise and contribute to product quality.A professional culture focused on reliability, accountability, and continuous improvement.
