Senior Trading Integration Engineer

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Trading Integration Engineer to join an international financial services environment and play a key role in the development, integration and optimisation of trading technology.In this position, you will work at the intersection of IT and financial markets, contributing to reliable order routing and trading solutions while collaborating closely with technical and business stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of technical topics, shape processes and contribute to both operational improvements and new initiatives.Responsibilities & TasksDesign, configure and maintain FIX interfaces connecting trading and surrounding systemsDevelop and implement enhancements, integrations and new functionalities across the trading technology landscapeDefine and optimise IT processes and workflows related to order management, market access, routing and settlementConfigure, test and deploy technical solutions while ensuring a high level of stability and qualityAnalyse technical and business requirements and translate them into effective solutionsProvide hands on support and troubleshooting for trading related applications and interfacesWork closely with internal stakeholders, business users and external partners to coordinate technical initiativesContribute to project management activities and take responsibility for assigned workstreamsCreate and maintain clear technical documentation and system specificationsRequirements & QualificationsHigher education in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Natural Sciences or a comparable fieldAround 5 years of professional experience working with FIX interfaces and related technologiesSolid understanding of financial markets and trading processes, ideally across areas such as Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives or FXStrong practical knowledge of the FIX Protocol, including interface configuration and troubleshootingExperience with TLS, encryption and secure communicationStrong technical understanding of Windows environments and TCP/IP networkingExperience with trading platforms or financial market applications is highly desirableKnowledge of Python and experience with order management, routing or settlement systems would be an advantageStrong analytical and problem solving capabilities with a structured approach to complex technical topicsConfident communicator who enjoys working with different stakeholders and taking ownershipAbility to work independently, prioritise effectively and remain solution focused in a fast paced environmentFluent English is required; German language skills are an advantageBenefits & CultureYou can expect a collaborative and international working environment where technical expertise, initiative and ownership are genuinely valued.The opportunity to work on business critical trading technology within the financial services sectorA diverse and highly skilled team with close collaboration between IT and business functionsScope to take ownership of technical topics and contribute ideas to improve systems and processesOpportunities for professional development and continuous learningA stable environment with an international outlook and long term growth opportunitiesCompetitive employment conditions and a comprehensive benefits packageA modern working environment with a strong focus on collaboration, professionalism and personal responsibility
