Senior UAV TechnicianLocation: Denmark-based, with European deploymentSector: Defence and security UAV operationsSUMMARYUAV Talent is seeking an experienced Senior UAV Technician to maintain and supportadvanced UAV platforms for a defence programme based in Denmark. This is a senior,hands-on role keeping fixed-wing and VTOL aircraft mission-ready across workshop andfield environments, including deployed operations.You will lead maintenance activity, troubleshoot complex faults, and set the standard forother technicians, working closely with operations and engineering teams. The role suits aseasoned UAV or aviation technician ready to take a senior, standard-setting position on ademanding programme.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain, troubleshoot and repair advanced fixed-wing and VTOL UAV platforms andsubsystemsCarry out scheduled and preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis and rectificationSupport ground handling, launch and recovery during operationsLead and mentor junior technicians, setting maintenance and safety standardsMaintain accurate maintenance records, configuration information and defect logsPrepare aircraft, spares and support equipment for deploymentWork closely with operations, engineering and flight-test teams to keep aircraft missionreadyUphold safety, quality and compliance across all maintenance activityQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEExtensive hands-on experience maintaining advanced UAV platforms, crewed aircraft,avionics or complex systemsStrong fault-finding across airframe, avionics, electrical and mechanical systemsExperience mentoring or leading other techniciansComfortable working in workshop and demanding field or deployed environmentsA background in defence, military or aerospace maintenance is highly valuedMethodical and safety-first, with high standards of documentationBased in Denmark, or willing to relocate, with the right to live and work in the countryFluent Danish and English, spoken and writtenEligible for the security clearance required by the programmeWHAT IS ON OFFERA senior, standard-setting role on an advanced UAV programmeHands-on work with cutting-edge platforms, including deployed operationsComprehensive benefits and a competitive, experience-based salary
