Senior UKG Integration Developer

When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you’re making a difference in people’s lives.The Senior UKG WFM Integration Developer is a hands-on technical expert responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-grade integrations between UKG Workforce Management (WFM) and multiple upstream and downstream systems within a large, complex healthcare system. This role plays a critical part in ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable data movement that supports payroll accuracy, clinical operations, workforce analytics, and regulatory compliance. This position requires deep technical expertise in UKG WFM integration frameworks, strong development skills, and experience supporting mission-critical systems in a healthcare environment. Experience with UKG Data Hub and UKG Analytics is a plus.Job DescriptionEssential Duties & Responsibilities, including but not limited to:Design, develop, and maintain inbound and outbound integrations for UKG Pro WFMBuild integrations supporting employee master data, job/labor assignments, schedules, time and attendance, accruals, pay results, and labor distributionDevelop file-based, API-based, and middleware-driven integrations (e.g., SFTP, REST/SOAP APIs, ETL tools)Partner with enterprise integration teams to align UKG WFM integrations with organizational architecture standardsDevelop and support UKG Data Hub data feeds for enterprise reporting and advanced analyticsCreate optimized data extracts to support Finance, Labor Productivity, Compliance, and Workforce Analytics use casesEnsure data accuracy, reconciliation, and performance of analytics feedsSupport downstream BI tools and analytics platforms consuming UKG WFM dataParticipate in UKG WFM implementations, upgrades, and expansions from a technical integration perspectiveSupport parallel payroll testing, cutovers, and go-live activitiesProvide production support for integration failures, data discrepancies, and performance issuesPerform root cause analysis and implement sustainable fixesImplement secure data transfer methods, including encryption, authentication, and role-based accessSupport audit requirements and documentation related to data movement and system controlsMonitor integration jobs and implement alerting and recovery proceduresWork closely with HRIS, Payroll, Finance, IT Infrastructure, Analytics, and clinical stakeholdersTranslate functional business requirements into technical integration designsProvide technical guidance and code reviews for other developers or analystsContribute to integration standards, best practices, and long-term WFM technical strategyIdentify opportunities to modernize integrations, reduce manual effort, and improve system resilienceEvaluate new UKG features and integration capabilities for adoptionEducation

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experienceExperience6+ years of experience developing and supporting enterprise system integrations4+ years of hands-on experience with UKG WFM integrationsStrong experience with API development, file-based interfaces, and secure data transferExperience with Boomi integration middleware platform (MuleSoft, Workato, etc. is a plus)Hands-on experience with UKG Data Hub and UKG AnalyticsExperience with SFTP, REST APIs, JSON/XML, and ETL patternsSkills, Knowledge & AbilitiesProven ability to troubleshoot complex integration and data issuesFamiliarity with healthcare HR, Payroll, Finance, and ERP ecosystemsDeep understanding of UKG WFM data structures and processing cyclesStrong SQL and data validation skillsPreferred Qualifications & SkillsUKG certifications preferred (Dimensions, Integrations, Data Hub, or Analytics)Pay Range$120,000.00 USD - $150,000.00 USDThe pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.
