Senior Urban Design Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Urban Design Manager to lead the visioning, concept development, and early-stage master planning of large-scale urban development projects. This is an opportunity for a creative and forward-thinking designer who can transform ideas into compelling urban visions and create innovative places that shape communities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the visioning, pre-concept, and concept design stages of urban design and master planning projects.Develop innovative master plans, urban design strategies, and development concepts.Produce and review sketches, diagrams, 3D models, and visual presentations to communicate design ideas effectively.Conduct site analysis, benchmarking, and feasibility studies to inform design decisions.Collaborate closely with architects, landscape architects, visualization specialists, and development teams to deliver integrated design solutions.Present design concepts and recommendations to senior stakeholders and leadership teams.Mentor junior designers and contribute to the growth of the urban design team.RequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Design, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a related discipline.10-12+ years of experience in urban design and master planning, with a strong focus on concept design and visioning.Previous experience with leading international consultancy firms.Strong GCC experience, ideally within the UAE.Advanced proficiency in SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and PowerPoint.Excellent hand-sketching, visualization, graphic presentation, and storytelling skills.Strong understanding of urban planning principles, site analysis, and master planning methodologies.Experience with GIS and data-driven design approaches is advantageous.Arabic language skills are a plus.If you are passionate about creating visionary urban environments and enjoy driving projects from concept to compelling design narratives, we would love to hear from you.
