Senior User Interface Designer

This environment offers professionals the opportunity to work on diverse products, collaborate with entrepreneurial teams, and contribute to high-impact, technology-driven innovation.Role Description As a Senior User Interface Designer at 808Labs, you will design polished, intuitive interfaces for web and mobile products spanning AI, commerce, and digital infrastructure. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and UX designers to translate requirements into wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and design systems that are visually consistent and user-centered. Daily responsibilities include crafting interaction patterns, refining visual layouts, collaborating on front-end implementation, and iterating based on user feedback and data. You will also contribute to design guidelines, mentor less experienced designers, and help ensure our products meet usability and accessibility standards. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Dubai, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the week.Qualifications Strong User Interface Design and Visual Design skills, with a portfolio demonstrating modern, high-quality digital product interfaces.Experience creating wireframes and Mockups, and translating them into consistent design systems and reusable UI components.Solid understanding of User Experience (UX) principles, including user flows, information architecture, and interaction design.Hands-on experience collaborating on Front-End Development, with familiarity in HTML, CSS, and component-based frameworks (e.g., React or similar).Proficiency with industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and versioning/collaboration workflows.Ability to work cross-functionally with product and engineering teams, communicate design decisions clearly, and incorporate feedback effectively.Experience in leading design initiatives, mentoring designers, and contributing to or maintaining design systems.Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Comfort working in a fast-paced, product-focused environment and adapting to evolving priorities.Prior experience designing interfaces for AI, commerce, or infrastructure products is a plus.
