Senior UX / Product Designer – Poker Learning & Coaching

About the RoleWe are looking for a Senior UX / Product Designer with professional-level poker knowledge to help us build next-generation poker learning, training, and coaching experiences.This is not a traditional UI-focused design role.The ideal candidate deeply understands how serious poker players think, study, review hands, identify leaks, practice, and improve — and can translate complex poker strategy, data, and training concepts into intuitive product experiences.Professional Poker Knowledge Is RequiredStrong, professional-level poker knowledge is mandatory for this role.You should have a deep practical understanding of concepts and workflows such as:Ranges, EV, and GTOSolver outputs and solver-based studyHand history review and analysisPlayer leaks and recurring mistakesTournament and/or cash-game strategyHow serious players study, practice, and improveYou do not need to have been a professional poker player, but your knowledge must be significantly beyond recreational-level familiarity.What You’ll DoOwn end-to-end UX and Product Design for poker learning, coaching, and training experiences.Translate complex poker strategy, analytics, and technical concepts into clear, intuitive UX.Design learning journeys around practice, feedback, progression, skill assessment, and improvement.Explore experiences involving training drills, hand analysis, simulations, personalized coaching, and AI-powered feedback.Work closely with poker experts, players, Product, and Engineering.Conduct research, prototyping, usability testing, and iterative validation.Use product data and behavioral insights to improve engagement and learning outcomes.Help establish scalable UX patterns and design standards.What We’re Looking ForProfessional-level poker knowledge — mandatoryStrong end-to-end Product / UX Design experienceExperience designing complex or data-heavy digital productsStrong interaction design, information architecture, prototyping, and usability skillsAbility to simplify complex systems and decision-makingStrong product judgment and comfort working with ambiguityExcellent collaboration with Product, Engineering, and domain expertsStrong portfolio demonstrating hands-on Product Design workFluent or highly proficient EnglishStrong Plus: Learning / Coaching Product ExperienceProfessional experience with learning, coaching, training, or skill-development products is a strong advantage.Particularly relevant experience includes:Structured learning journeysPractice and feedback loopsSkill assessment and progressionPersonalized or adaptive learningGamification and mastery systemsPerformance improvementRelevant backgrounds may include EdTech, game coaching, chess training, language learning, competitive gaming, sports coaching, or other skill-development platforms.Nice-to-HavesPoker products, training platforms, or solversiGaming or competitive gamingData-heavy analytics productsAI-powered coaching or personalized learningGamification and progression systemsStrong visual/UI design skillsBenefits🌍 Fully remote with flexible working hours💵 Competitive USD compensation🎁 Quarterly bonus🏖️ 5 weeks paid annual leave + local public holidays📈 Annual salary review💻 Equipment allowance📚 Learning & development budget
