Senior UX/UI Designer (Web & Mobile) - Conract

Role OverviewSharjah Digital Department is seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to support the transformation. The successful candidate will lead the design of user-centric digital experiences across web and mobile platforms, advise on design best practices, contribute to the development of a Design Language System (DLS), and create both digital and offline design assets.Key Responsibilities Design intuitive and engaging user experiences for web and mobile applications Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes Advise stakeholders on UX/UI best practices and digital design strategy Develop and maintain a Design Language System (DLS) to ensure consistency across platforms Conduct user research and translate findings into actionable design improvements Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders Create visually compelling UI designs aligned with brand and accessibility standards Design and produce offline marketing and communication materials, including presentations, brochures, infographics, and event assets Support usability testing and continuously enhance user journeys based on feedback Ensure all design outputs align with government digital service standards and user needs.Required Skills & Experience7+ years of UX/UI design experienceProven experience designing web and mobile applicationsStrong portfolio demonstrating UX research, UI design, and prototyping projectsHands-on experience with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and modern design toolsExperience developing and managing Design Systems / Design Language SystemsStrong understanding of user-centered design methodologies and accessibility standardsAbility to create both digital and offline creative assetExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsFluency in Arabic and Englis
