Senior Vertical Transportation Engineer - Design

Our portfolio includes landmark developments such as Burj Azizi, Monaco Mansions, and Azizi Venice.As a Senior VT Engineer, reporting to the Head of MEP and based at our Design Studio in Al Hudaiba, Dubai, you will be responsible for the design, coordination, and technical review of Vertical Transportation systems across high-rise, hospitality, retail, and other major developments.ResponsibilitiesLead VT design and coordination across various project stages.Prepare and review VT drawings, schedules, specifications, reports, and traffic analysis.Coordinate with design teams, external consultants, manufacturers, contractors, and vendors.Review external consultant designs and technical submissions.Prepare feasibility studies, code compliance statements, and design-stage reports.Support RFI resolution and provide technical input during construction.Review and recommend VT vendors and support vendor onboarding.Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning when required.Ensure compliance with Dubai/UAE authorities, codes, and project requirements.Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.Here's what you'll needBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline.8+ years of experience in Vertical Transportation Engineering.Strong experience in high-rise, hotel, mall, and large-scale developments.Expert knowledge of VT design, lift planning, and passenger traffic analysis.Proficiency in ELEVATE, AutoCAD/CADD, BIM, and Revit.Strong knowledge of Dubai/UAE authority requirements and design processes.Excellent coordination, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under strict deadlines.
