Senior Vice President

Role Description The Senior Vice President role is a full-time remote position responsible for setting strategic direction and driving growth across ZAB SHIPPING LLC’s logistics and freight forwarding operations. This role oversees business development, key client relationships, and commercial performance, ensuring that services remain competitive, efficient, and aligned with market needs. The Senior Vice President collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize end-to-end supply chain solutions, enhance operational processes, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards in the UAE and global markets. Daily responsibilities include leading senior managers, reviewing financial and operational reports, approving major contracts and partnerships, and guiding long-term planning and investment decisions. The role also involves representing the company in high-level negotiations, industry events, and strategic initiatives while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer excellence.QualificationsExtensive leadership experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management, including responsibility for multi-country or regional operations.Proven track record in strategic planning, business development, and P&L management, with the ability to grow revenue and improve profitability.Strong skills in stakeholder management, negotiation, and partnership building with clients, carriers, and regulatory bodies.Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor senior-level teams, drive organizational change, and build collaborative, high-performing cultures.Solid understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, warehousing, transportation modes, and project cargo handling.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, including experience using data and KPIs to drive operational improvements.Advanced communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly beneficial.Comfort working remotely across time zones, with strong self-management, digital collaboration skills, and proficiency in standard business software tools.
