Apply & track with Apply EdgeConfidential Search: Senior Vice President of OperationsA private equity-backed organization is confidentially seeking an experienced Senior Vice President of Operations to lead their Dental Service Organization with more than 50 locations across over 10 states through its next phase of growth.This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an accomplished multi-site operations executive who can strengthen operational performance, develop high-performing teams, improve consistency across locations, and help scale the business effectively. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating in a growth-oriented, private equity-backed environment and partnering closely with executive leadership and ownership.About the RoleThe Senior Vice President of Operations will oversee operational performance across a growing, multi-state platform. This leader will be responsible for translating strategic objectives into effective operating plans, ensuring accountability across the organization, and supporting continued expansion while maintaining quality, service, and financial performance.The successful candidate will bring a track record of leading complex, geographically dispersed operations and managing through periods of growth, change, and organizational development.What You’ll DoProvide strategic and operational leadership across more than 50 locations in over 10 states.Develop and execute scalable operating strategies aligned with the organization’s growth objectives.Establish consistent processes, performance standards, and accountability across locations.Lead, mentor, and develop regional and site-level leadership teams.Monitor key operating, financial, productivity, and service metrics.Partner with the executive team and private equity stakeholders on strategic initiatives and performance improvement.Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, team effectiveness, customer or patient experience, and overall profitability.Support the integration and standardization of new locations, teams, and operating processes as the organization expands.Promote strong communication and collaboration across geographically dispersed teams.Assess organizational structure, talent needs, and leadership capabilities to support continued growth.Travel to locations as necessary to support operations, leadership development, and strategic initiatives.What We’re Looking ForAt least five years of operations leadership experience within a dental service organization.At least five years of operations experience within a dental service organization.Demonstrated experience overseeing pediatric dentistry and orthodontic operations.Significant senior-level operations leadership experience in a multi-site, multi-state organization, ideally between the 50-150 location range.A hands-on, field-oriented leadership style with a willingness to spend time in practices and engage directly with doctors.Demonstrated success managing geographically dispersed teams and locations.Experience leading organizations through periods of significant growth and operational change.A track record of improving operational performance, consistency, and accountability.Strong business acumen and the ability to connect operational decisions to financial results.Experience partnering with executive leadership, boards, or private equity sponsors.Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and change-management skills.Ability to operate strategically while remaining closely connected to day-to-day execution.Willingness and ability to travel as needed.Preferred QualificationsExperience in a private equity-backed organization.Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, or rapid expansion.Experience within a highly regulated, service-based, healthcare, or other multi-location operating environment.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
