About the RoleSpecialized Enterprise Systems (SES) is hiring a Senior Virtualization Engineer (L2/L3) at a client site in Saudi Arabia. The role is responsible for the administration, support, optimization, and troubleshooting of enterprise virtualization platforms within a mission-critical data center environment. The role provides advanced Level 2 and Level 3 technical support for virtual infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and scalability of virtualized workloads.Key ResponsibilitiesManage, administer, and maintain enterprise virtualization platforms, including VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV, and related infrastructure technologiesProvide Level 2 and Level 3 support for virtual servers, clusters, hypervisors, virtual storage, and virtual networking environmentsMonitor virtualization infrastructure performance, availability, capacity, and resource utilization to ensure optimal operationPerform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for virtualization-related incidents, outages, and performance issuesManage and maintain high-availability and fault-tolerant configurations to support business-critical applications and servicesPlan and execute virtual machine provisioning, migrations, upgrades, patching, and decommissioning activitiesAdminister virtualization management tools, including vCenter Server, System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM), and associated monitoring solutionsRequirements7+ years of experience in enterprise virtualization and data center infrastructureBachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related fieldWilling to relocate to the client site in Saudi Arabia within 2 monthsStandard shifts with 24x7 on-call rotationSkills and TechnologiesVMware vSphere, ESXi & vCenter AdministrationMicrosoft Hyper-V AdministrationNutanix AHV & HCI InfrastructureVirtual Storage & Virtual NetworkingHigh Availability (HA) & Disaster Recovery (DR)Enterprise Backup & Replication SolutionsPerformance Monitoring & Capacity PlanningPowerShell / PowerCLI AutomationIncident & Problem ManagementInfrastructure Security & HardeningPreferred CertificationsVMware Certified Professional (VCP-DCV), VMware Advanced Professional (VCAP) (preferred), Microsoft Certified: Windows Server / Azure Administrator, Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP), ITIL Foundation Certification, Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE) (preferred)
