He/she is responsible for the aesthetic, technical and operational consistency of the VM devices deployed across all markets.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDesign and develop the full range of permanent visual merchandising materials, focused on POSM (point-of-sale materials), displays and signage, in line with the brand's identity — furniture development is not part of the scope.Manage the prototyping, sampling and costing of all permanent VM materials, from concept validation through to final production-ready specifications.Build and evolve the visual merchandising guidelines, ensuring they are clear, applicable and well understood by local teams and distribution partners.Oversee the roll-out and implementation of VM devices in the field, ensuring compliance with brand standards and execution quality.Work closely with all markets worldwide to assess their specific needs, understand local constraints and adapt applications accordingly.Manage projects end-to-end: from creative and technical concept through prototyping, costing, production and deployment, liaising with suppliers and vendors.Balance aesthetic ambition with technical feasibility, cost control and the logistical constraints of international retail.Contribute to defining the permanent VM strategy alongside the Head of Visual Merchandising & Design.PROFILE & COMPETENCIESDegree in design, interior architecture or architecture, with a specialization in or strong affinity for retail design.Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in visual merchandising or retail design, ideally gained both within large structured groups and niche houses.Proven experience in the niche perfumery sector, its culture, aesthetic codes and quality standards.Strong field experience: able to oversee implementations, liaise with local teams and vendors, and resolve execution issues.Hybrid profile, both creative and technical, able to move from design concept to a workable technical specification.French-speaking profile required, with a strong understanding of French culture and full comfort working within a French-speaking team; fluent French and professional English required.Versatility, autonomy and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage several markets and projects in parallel.Availability for regular international travel.TECHNICAL SKILLSProficiency in design tools (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent).Solid knowledge of POSM materials, manufacturing processes and production constraints.Hands-on experience with prototyping, sampling and costing processes for retail materials.Understanding of the logistical and budgetary challenges of deploying VM materials internationally.
