Senior Waiter

Role Description The Senior Waiter at Amaya Restaurant & Lounge is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for delivering an elevated guest experience aligned with AMAYA’s premium hospitality standards. The role involves greeting and seating guests, presenting menus, guiding guests through food and beverage selections, and providing knowledgeable recommendations. The Senior Waiter oversees table service, coordinates with the kitchen and bar, ensures accurate order taking, and monitors timing and presentation of dishes. Additional responsibilities include supervising junior service staff, supporting training, handling guest feedback, and maintaining a refined, clean, and organized dining environment that reflects the brand’s art-led concept.QualificationsStrong customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport and create memorable guest experiences.Solid knowledge of food & beverage and food service operations, including menu components and pairing suggestions.Effective communication skills for interacting with guests and collaborating with team members and kitchen staff.Basic understanding of cooking techniques and culinary terminology to accurately describe dishes and preparation methods.Previous experience as a Senior Waiter or in a similar supervisory front-of-house role in premium or fine-dining venues.Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced, high-end environment.Professional appearance, attention to detail, and a guest-focused mindset.Fluency in English; additional languages commonly spoken in Dubai are an advantage.
