The resort features over 20 curated restaurants and lounges, the traditional Souk Madinat Jumeirah, dedicated kids' clubs and some of the region’s most versatile event and conference spaces.About the JobAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Waiter/ess - Food & Beverage to join Madinat Jumeirah Resort from October 2026 onwards.The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and provide information about seating arrangements.Explain menu items, including preparation methods and ingredients. Address any inquiries about allergies or dietary restrictions.Inform guests about daily specials and promotions not listed on the menu, ensuring they are aware of all available optionsServe food using appropriate techniques, ensuring adherence to established serving standards and handling practices.Handle cashiering duties, including generating bills from the MICROS system, presenting bills to guests, and processing various payment methods.Obtain feedback from guests about their dining experience, addressing any issues promptly and ensuring guest satisfaction.About YouThe ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:Diploma/Degree in Hospitality IndustryBasic Food and Hygiene TrainingStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Opera (Cloud).Experience of working in an international capacity and a clear understanding of cultural differences showcasing trust and respect for everyone1 - 2 years of experience, preferably with an international hospitality companyAbout the BenefitsAt Jumeirah, we are dedicated to fostering a workplace where colleagues feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.
