Known for an extensive menu and global flavors, MARA LOUNGE RESTAURANT GROUP focuses on delivering high-quality dining experiences that appeal to a wide range of tastes.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Waiter role based in Abu Dhabi. The Senior Waiter will oversee table service, welcome guests, guide them through the menu, and ensure a smooth and attentive dining experience from seating to payment. Responsibilities include supervising service standards, coordinating with kitchen and bar teams, managing reservations and table allocations, and handling guest inquiries or complaints professionally. The role also involves training and mentoring junior waitstaff, monitoring cleanliness and presentation in the dining area, and supporting special events or high-volume service periods. Senior Waiters are expected to uphold MARA LOUNGE RESTAURANT GROUP’s hospitality standards and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.Qualifications Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.Experience in Food & Beverage and Food Service operations, including menu knowledge and service procedures.Basic Cooking understanding to communicate effectively with the kitchen and describe dishes accurately.Previous experience as a Senior Waiter or in a supervisory front-of-house role in upscale or high-volume restaurants.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with excellent time management under pressure.Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work area.Proficiency in English; additional language skills are an advantage in a diverse guest environment.High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or restaurant service training is an added benefit.
