⚓ SENIOR WEAPONS SYSTEMS ENGINEER ⚓📍 Abu Dhabi, UAE🛡️ Defence🚀 Immediate Requirement💰 Competitive Expatriate PackageA leading defence organisation in the UAE is seeking an experienced Senior Weapons Systems Engineer to support major naval programmes.This is a senior technical position requiring strong experience in naval weapons systems, combat systems and shipboard systems integration, working across the engineering, integration, installation, commissioning and acceptance phases of complex naval projects.The Role:🔱 Lead and support the integration of weapons systems onto naval vessels.🔱 Manage technical interfaces between weapons, Combat Management Systems (CMS), sensors and ship/platform systems.🔱 Review system requirements, specifications, interface documentation and technical designs.🔱 Support weapons-system installation, integration and setting-to-work activities.🔱 Troubleshoot complex technical and interface issues during vessel construction and commissioning.🔱 Support FAT, HAT, SAT, harbour trials and sea trials.🔱 Coordinate with shipyard engineering teams, combat-system suppliers, weapons OEMs and other subcontractors.🔱 Ensure systems meet contractual, technical, safety and performance requirements.Requirements:⚙️ Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Systems, Weapons, Marine Engineering or a related discipline.⚙️ Significant experience within naval weapons or combat systems engineering.⚙️ Strong knowledge of naval weapon integration, including missiles, naval guns and/or other effectors.⚙️ Experience integrating weapons with Combat Management Systems (CMS).⚙️ Understanding of shipboard sensors, communications and combat-system architecture.⚙️ Practical experience across installation, integration, commissioning and trials highly desirable.⚙️ Previous experience on frigates, corvettes, OPVs, fast attack craft or other complex naval vessels strongly preferred.⚙️ Experience with a major naval shipbuilder, defence prime, combat-system integrator or weapons OEM would be advantageous.
