Senior Workday Analyst

Key Responsibilities- * Lead Workday discovery, solution design, configuration, optimization, and client confirmation sessions.* Translate business requirements into scalable and effective Workday functional solutions.* Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, COEs, SMEs, business stakeholders, and technical teams.* Configure and maintain Workday HCM, with exposure to Payroll, Expenses, and other Workday modules.* Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for **automation, process improvement, risk reduction, and operational efficiency.* Facilitate business process design discussions and advise stakeholders on **solution options, risks, dependencies, and downstream impacts.* Support Workday integrations with external systems, working closely with technical and integration teams.* Perform functional testing, troubleshoot issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and recommend solutions.* Create and maintain requirements, configuration documents, process flows, test scenarios, and functional documentation.* Continuously optimize Workday configurations and business processes to ensure they remain scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business needs.* Communicate project risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery status to project leadership.* Provide knowledge sharing and mentoring to team members across Workday functional areas.* Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders while managing expectations and providing practical recommendations.* Ensure high-quality delivery while maintaining strong standards for governance, documentation, customer service, and continuous improvement.Required Skills & Experience* 6–7+ years of hands-on Workday experience.* Strong experience with Workday HCM.* Working knowledge/exposure to Workday Payroll, Expenses, Reporting, Security, Integrations, and Financials.* Strong understanding of Workday Business Processes and configuration.* Experience gathering requirements and translating them into functional solutions.* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business-process optimization skills.* Experience working with cross-functional and technical teams.* Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a distributed team.
