Joining the team offers opportunities to gain experience in upscale hospitality and develop customer service skills.Role Description The Server is a full-time, on-site role based at Hendersonville Country Club in Hendersonville, NC. In this position, the Server provides attentive table service in dining rooms, bars, and event spaces, including greeting guests, presenting menus, taking food and beverage orders, and serving items accurately and promptly. Daily responsibilities include setting up and breaking down service areas, maintaining cleanliness and organization of tables and stations, and following club standards for presentation and hygiene. The Server handles guest inquiries and requests, communicates effectively with kitchen and bar staff, and processes payments in accordance with club procedures. The role also involves supporting private events and banquets as needed, working flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Qualifications Strong hospitality and customer service skills, with the ability to provide courteous, professional, and proactive guest support.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal communication and the ability to work cooperatively with team members and management.Basic food and beverage knowledge, including menu familiarity, safe food handling practices, and the ability to learn club offerings quickly.Organizational and multi-tasking skills to manage multiple tables, prioritize tasks, and maintain a clean and orderly work area.Dependability and professionalism, including punctuality, adherence to dress code and grooming standards, and respect for club policies.Physical ability to stand for extended periods, carry trays or plates, and move safely around dining and event areas.Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or club service is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by club operations.
