Operating across multiple markets, we are committed to transforming waste into value while safeguarding the environment, supporting our communities, and driving operational excellence.OverviewWe are looking for a Service Delivery Lead to take ownership of daily vehicle deployment, route planning, fleet utilization and logistics coordination to ensure safe, efficient and uninterrupted waste collection operations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate daily vehicle deployment and resource allocation for waste collection operations, monitoring daily fulfilment and targeting zero missed collections.Plan, optimize, and maintain records of collection routes, vehicle schedules, fleet utilization, and deployment methods to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.Ensure timely vehicle dispatch and coordinate effective responses to breakdowns, emergencies, operational changes, and service disruptions.Monitor vehicle movements and ensure adherence to planned routes, schedules, and operational requirements.Manage and follow up on all fleet-related transactions and documentation, including vehicle transfers, registrations, Rasid renewals, GPS activations, permits, and other regulatory requirements.Maintain accurate and up-to-date fleet, asset, and inventory records, ensuring all transactions and changes are properly documented.Monitor vehicle availability, breakdowns, maintenance requirements, fuel consumption, utilization, and overall fleet performance, including tracking open action items and future fleet requirements.Ensure compliance with company SOPs, road permits requirements, client requirements, and applicable UAE regulations.Coordinate closely with Drivers, Helpers, LDSC Agents, Dispatchers, Workshop/Maintenance, HSE, Stores, and other Operations teams to ensure operational issues and action items are properly managed and closed in accordance with SOPs.Lead and support Drivers, Helpers, and Dispatch/Operations teams while promoting a strong culture of safety, accountability, discipline, and operational excellence.Monitor and analyze key operational KPIs, including Vehicle Utilization, Daily Dispatch Percentage, Daily Fulfilment Percentage, Trips, Route Adherence, Productivity, Delays, Fuel Consumption, Missed Collections, and Service Completion.Identify and implement opportunities for route optimization, cost reduction, improved fleet utilization, higher productivity, and enhanced service quality.Maintain accurate records for Drivers, Helpers, and other Frontliners, including attendance, leave, incidents, accidents, disciplinary matters, and related operational actions.Prepare and maintain the monthly incentive and KPI calculations for Frontliners and Operations teams, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.Conduct regular coordination meetings with Sales and Key Account teams and ensure operational requirements, service requests, and customer complaints are properly actioned.Ensure monthly operational reports for Key Account customers are prepared and shared within the required timelines.Maintain strong working relationships with Key Account customers, ensuring operational requirements and service concerns are addressed promptly.Attend customer meetings, site visits, and operational reviews as required.Support Sales and Commercial teams in assessing new projects, including calculating operational requirements, manpower, fleet and equipment requirements, productivity assumptions, and operational costing.Continuously review fleet and operational processes to identify opportunities for automation, improved controls, better resource utilization, cost efficiency, and service improvement.Qualifications & Experience7-8 years of experience in Waste management operations.Strong knowledge of vehicle routing, fleet scheduling, GPS tracking, and fleet management system, DM and Sharjah municipality permitsExperience managing a fleet of heavy and light commercial vehicles.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good knowledge of MS Excel and operational reporting.Excellent communication, coordination, and team leadership skills.Good knowledge of UAE roads and operational requirements.Valid UAE Driving License is preferred.Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transport, Business Administration, or a related discipline.If you think you have what it takes to make the world a cleaner place, if you can see value where others see waste and if you aren’t afraid of a challenge, why not start your journey with us today.Averda welcomes candidates from all backgrounds, actively promotes diversity in the workforce, and is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.ONLY SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONTACTED*
