Field Service Engineer – Medical SystemsWe are recruiting an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a small, specialist medical technology company with a passionate team and a strong reputation in respiratory diagnostics across the NHS and private healthcare sector.This is a hands-on, autonomous role covering the installation, servicing, PPM, calibration and repair of specialist medical systems across the UK.You will manage your own field schedule, diagnose faults, carry out repairs and upgrades, and work directly with clinical customers to keep equipment safe, reliable and fully operational.Key responsibilities include:Managing and planning your own field service scheduleCarrying out PPM, servicing, calibration and repairsDiagnosing electro-mechanical, software and connectivity-related faultsInstalling and commissioning new equipmentSupporting equipment upgrades and system configurationTroubleshooting PC and network connectivity issuesMaintaining accurate electronic service documentationProviding responsive technical support to NHS and private healthcare customersWe are looking for:Minimum of 2 years’ field service experienceStrong electro-mechanical fault-finding skillsGood PC, networking and troubleshooting capabilityHNC, HND, Degree or equivalent practical engineering experienceA full, clean UK driving licenceExperience within the medical device sector or a similar clinical environment would be highly advantageous.What’s on offer:Competitive salary of up to £50,000Company vehicle and fuel cardManufacturer and technical trainingPrivate medical insuranceCompany pensionLaptop and mobile phoneThis is a great opportunity to join a small, supportive team in a positive working environment, working with advanced medical technology and offering genuine autonomy and responsibility in the field.
