The Group has long-established associations and strategic relationships with several well-known international names.Job PurposeThe Services Manager will lead and manage Evostel's Electrical Services Business, ensuring successful delivery of engineering, field services, testing & commissioning, retrofit projects, maintenance activities, and technical consulting services across power distribution and industrial electrical systems.The role is responsible for the complete project and service lifecycle, including pre-bid support, proposal preparation, engineering design, resource planning, project execution, testing & commissioning, customer acceptance, and project closure.The incumbent will drive technical excellence, operational efficiency, safety compliance, customer satisfaction, and sustainable business growth while supporting Evostel's strategic expansion in electrical services.The Services Manager will lead multidisciplinary engineering and field service teams while working closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, Procurement, Vendors, and Customers to ensure successful execution of all service engagements.Ideal Candidate ProfileA results-oriented electrical services leader with strong commercial, engineering, and operational capabilities. The successful candidate will possess deep expertise in power distribution systems, protection and control, testing & commissioning, modernization projects, and industrial maintenance services.He will be capable of building a high-performance service organization that consistently delivers safe, profitable, and customer-centric solutions while supporting Evostel's long-term growth and reputation in the market.Responsibilities1. Business Development & Pre-Sales SupportSupport sales and business development teams in identifying service opportunities within industrial, utility, infrastructure, and commercial sectors.Lead technical discussions with customers during pre-bid and tendering stages.Review RFQs, tenders, specifications, and project requirements.Develop technical and commercial service proposals, methodologies, project execution plans, and resource estimates.Participate in customer presentations, technical clarifications, and bid negotiations.Identify opportunities for long-term service agreements, maintenance contracts, modernization projects, and asset management services.2. Engineering & Technical LeadershipLead engineering activities related to power distribution systems, protection systems, and electrical installations.Review and approve engineering deliverables, technical reports, procedures, and method statements.Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, Saudi Electricity standards, Aramco standards, SABIC standards, and other applicable regulations.Provide technical leadership for complex troubleshooting and critical project challenges.Develop standardized engineering and field service procedures to improve consistency and quality.3. Field Services & Site ExecutionManage all field service activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution.Plan, schedule, and allocate manpower, tools, equipment, and resources for service projects.Supervise site engineers, service engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.Monitor project progress, productivity, quality, safety, and budget performance.Ensure successful execution and timely completion of service assignments.Maintain strong customer engagement throughout project execution.4. Core Service Portfolio Management4.1 Onsite Supervision ServicesLead and manage supervision activities for:Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) switchgear installationPower transformersMotor Control Centers (MCC)Protection and control systemsSubstation equipmentIndustrial power distribution networksEnsure compliance with engineering standards, installation quality requirements, and project specifications.4.2 Testing, Commissioning & Start-Up ServicesManage testing and commissioning activities for:MV/LV switchgearTransformersProtection relaysControl systemsMotor control systemsPower distribution systemsIndustrial electrical installationsEnsure successful energization, functional verification, performance validation, and customer acceptance.4.3 Retrofit, Upgrade & Modernization ProjectsLead projects involving:Switchgear retrofit and life extensionProtection relay upgradesSCADA integrationAutomation enhancementsDigital monitoring solutionsPower system modernizationAsset replacement and technology migration programsDevelop cost-effective upgrade strategies to improve reliability, safety, and system performance.4.4 Fault Analysis, Troubleshooting & MaintenanceManage specialist services including:Fault tracing and root cause analysisPower quality investigationsProtection system troubleshootingThermal inspectionsCondition monitoringPreventive maintenanceCorrective maintenanceEmergency breakdown responseProvide technical expertise for complex electrical and power system issues.4.5 Power System Studies & Asset OptimizationLead engineering consulting services including:Protection coordination studiesArc flash studiesLoad flow studiesShort circuit analysisRelay settings calculationsRelay calibration and testingAsset health assessmentReliability studiesElectrical system optimizationSupport customers in improving network reliability, safety, and operational performance.5. Project Management ResponsibilitiesEstablish project execution plans and schedules.Monitor project milestones, deliverables, and customer commitments.Manage project risks and implement mitigation measures.Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.Prepare project progress reports and executive updates.Conduct project close-out reviews and lessons learned sessions.6. Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE)Ensure strict compliance with company and customer HSE requirements.Promote a strong safety culture across all field operations.Conduct risk assessments and ensure implementation of safe work practices.Ensure all personnel maintain required certifications and safety training.Drive continuous improvement in quality, safety, and operational standards.7. Team Leadership & People DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop engineering, commissioning, and field service teams.Build technical competencies and succession plans within the organization.Establish performance objectives and KPIs for team members.Promote collaboration, accountability, innovation, and customer focus.Identify training requirements and professional development opportunities.8. Financial & Operational ManagementManage department budgets and operational costs.Improve service profitability through efficient resource utilization.Monitor project margins, productivity, and financial performance.Support annual business planning and growth initiatives.Develop strategies to expand recurring service revenue streams.Qualifications & ExperienceEducationBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.ExperienceMinimum 10-15 years of experience in electrical engineering and field services.At least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.Extensive experience in MV/LV power distribution systems.Strong background in testing, commissioning, protection systems, and industrial electrical projects.Experience serving industrial customers such as Aramco, SABIC, SEC, Royal Commission, petrochemical plants, utilities, and infrastructure clients.Proven track record managing engineering and field service teams.
