Location: Dammam, KSASector: Construction EquipmentOverviewOur client, a premier manufacturer of construction machinery, powered access, and aerial work platforms (AWPs), is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead its aftersales operations in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.This pivotal role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer support, driving service performance, and leading a team of engineers to ensure operational excellence and high levels of client satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesDepartmental Leadership: Lead and manage the service department, encompassing both workshop and field service engineering teams.Service Delivery: Drive customer satisfaction through swift issue resolution, effective resource planning, and maximized equipment uptime.Performance & Profitability: Monitor and enhance service KPIs, team productivity, operational budgets, and regional profitability.OEM & Warranty Governance: Oversee warranty claims, ensuring strict compliance with OEM specifications and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.Technical Escalations: Provide high-level technical guidance on complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system diagnostics.Commercial Collaboration: Partner closely with Parts, Sales, and Product teams to drive aftermarket growth and elevate the client experience.RequirementsIndustry Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a Service Manager or senior service leadership position within the construction equipment, material handling, AWP, or heavy machinery sectors.Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.Operational Management: Proven track record in managing workshop/field service operations, service KPIs, and warranty processes.Leadership & Communication: Outstanding leadership and stakeholder management capabilities, with a focus on high-quality customer service.Analytical Mindset: Strong data analysis skills to identify performance trends and optimize operational efficiency.Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is highly advantageous.Unfortunately, due to our high number of applications we are unable to respond to all applicants.
