If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy all aspects of project coordination, we'd love to hear from you!  A Day in the LifeAttend pre‑tender site meetings and prepare accurate takeoffs, estimates and participate in tender reviewsCoordinate all bid requirements (bonds, deposits, certificates, CCDC documents, references)Maintain and update the shop drawing log; review drawings and submittalsReview contracts for accuracy prior to signingLiaise with the General Contractor to expedite drawings and informationEstablish and update project schedules, site requirements, and communicate with Superintendents and the Service ManagerFollow up on site issues and ensure deficiencies are completed for holdback releaseAttend site meetings and final inspections as requiredApprove project close‑out and confirm all invoicing is completeReview project progress for scheduling and organize daily/weekly field operationsMaintain customer communication throughout project executionEnsure all revisions and change orders are documented and submitted for pricingProvide foremen with all required drawings, instructions, and documentationSubmission of warranty compliance and O&M manuals, completed as part of project closeout Dispatching:Respond to service and leak calls as required and determine urgencyCollect full customer information: billing address, site address, nearest major intersection, site contact, and phone numbersDispatch calls to roof technicians, providing all the above collect information including the job number After Hours Emergencies:Maintain 24/7 on‑call availability during scheduled rotationServe as the after‑hours contact for leak investigationsTrack primary and secondary crew availability, including weekend and holiday coverageReturn to sites as needed for further investigation or recommendations What We Are Seeking3-5 years’ experience working in construction is an asset with building envelope knowledgeEducation in a civil engineering / building science program or a related educational fieldFamiliarity with construction methods and building codesHighly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, problem solving and decision making abilitiesStrong negotiation and communication skillsAbility to multi task and work in a team environmentAbility to read plans and specifications What We OfferCompetitive wagesExcellent benefits program including Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and RRSP matchingGreat environment where our motto is “Flynn Family Winning Together”!Ongoing career development via continuing education and Flynn’s in house University programsIn-house gym, with workout equipment    Flynn Group of Companies is the leading trade contractor in North America that works on virtually every aspect of a building’s outer layer, including Roofing, Glazing, Waterproofing, and Architectural Metals.
