They have offices in KSA, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and in the UAE.Role: Service TechnicianLocation: DubaiJob Summary: The IT / AV Technician handles installation, configuration, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of IT, AV, and Security products at customer sites.This role involves providing high-quality technical support while adhering to company procedures, OEM standards, SLAs, and HSE requirements.The technician will install and support a wide range of enterprise IT infrastructure, Interactive Flat Panel (IFP) displays, digital collaboration solutions, CCTV surveillance systems, networking equipment, cybersecurity solutions, and related hardware and software. The position demands strong technical competence, effective communication, professional customer interaction, and the ability to work independently or as part of a project implementation team.The technician shall maintain accurate service documentation, provide technical recommendations, identify opportunities for service improvement, and contribute to customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and effective issue resolution.Key Responsibilities:IT Infrastructure Installation & SupportInstall, configure, commission, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, workstations, servers, printers, scanners, and peripheral devices.Configure user accounts, permissions, shared folders, printers, and network resources.Install and configure wired and wireless networking equipment including routers, switches, access points, and structured cabling.Perform hardware diagnostics and component replacement.Execute operating system updates, firmware upgrades, and software patches.Audio Visual (AV) SolutionsInstall, configure, and commission Interactive Flat Panels (IFP) and Conduct customer demonstrations and user orientation after installationInstall video conferencing equipment.Configure cameras, microphones, speakers, touch panels, and presentation systems.Perform software and firmware updates for AV equipment.Troubleshoot display, connectivity, audio, and video issues.Security SolutionsInstall and configure IP CCTV surveillance systems, Network Video Recorders (NVR) and Digital Video Recorders (DVR).Configure IP cameras, storage devices, remote viewing, and mobile applications.Perform camera positioning, focus adjustment, and recording verification.Install and troubleshoot access control systems where applicable.Support cybersecurity solutions including endpoint protection, firewall deployment, antivirus, email security, and network security devices.Perform firmware upgrades and security updates for supported devices.Field Service OperationsAttend customer service requests within agreed SLA timelines.Resolve hardware, software, and network-related incidents.Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers when necessary.Perform preventive maintenance visits according to maintenance schedules.Participate in new installations, upgrades, migrations, and relocation projects.Read technical drawings, network layouts, and installation plans.Ensure installations comply with project specifications and quality standards.Required SkillsStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills.Good understanding of computer hardware and software.Knowledge of networking fundamentals.Good customer service skills, Time management and prioritization skills.Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.Commitment to continuous learning.QualificationsDiploma or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.Possession of a valid UAE driving license is preferred.Preferred certifications include:Microsoft CertificationsCertified CCTV or Security Systems Training and Cyber Security fundamentals.OEM Interactive Flat Panel Training
