The Service Technician will install, maintain, and repair packaging machines and related equipment at customer locations and within company facilities. Responsibilities include performing routine and preventive maintenance, diagnosing technical issues, and executing efficient repairs to minimize downtime. The role involves field service visits, on-site inspections, and documenting work performed in service reports. The Service Technician will interact directly with customers, provide clear guidance on proper equipment use, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely parts availability and high service standards.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Maintenance & Repair skills, with hands-on experience working on industrial or packaging machinery.Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting skills for identifying mechanical, electrical, and operational issues efficiently.Candidates should possess Field Service experience, including on-site equipment support and travel to customer locations.Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service capabilities, with the ability to communicate clearly and maintain professional relationships.Candidates should possess general Maintenance skills, including preventive maintenance planning and execution.Technical diploma or certificate in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics engineering, or a related field is preferred.Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and use diagnostic tools effectively.Strong safety awareness and adherence to workplace and site safety procedures.Previous experience in packaging machinery or industrial equipment servicing is an advantage.Proficiency in English; additional language skills commonly used in the region are beneficial.
