We work at the intersection of tech and craftsmanship, and we take real pride in getting the details right.Role Description We're looking for a Service Technician (2–5 years of AV experience) to join our team full-time. You'll be the person on-site installing, configuring, maintaining, and repairing AV systems at client locations across the Vancouver area, from routine service calls to troubleshooting complex integrated systems under a deadline.What you'll doInstall, configure, and maintain AV systems: video conferencing, audio, displays, and control systemsDiagnose and troubleshoot equipment, cabling, and networking issues on-sitePerform field service visits, document work performed, and keep service records currentCoordinate with project managers and technical leads on more complex issuesInteract directly with clients — explain the work clearly and provide basic user trainingFollow safety, quality, and company standards on every jobQualificationsWhat you bring2–5 years of hands-on experience in AV installation, service, or repairSolid troubleshooting skills across AV equipment, cabling, and hardwareWorking knowledge of networking concepts as they relate to AV over IP, video conferencing platforms, and control systemsAbility to read wiring schematics and technical/installation diagramsComfortable with hand and power tools and on-site safety proceduresStrong customer-facing communication — you can explain technical work in plain termsValid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites in the Vancouver areaA relevant technical diploma, certification, or equivalent practical experience is an assetCTS certification or working toward one is a plusWhy Clever AVThis isn't a sit-at-a-desk kind of job.
