ServiceNow Developer

Role Description The ServiceNow Developer is a full-time, on-site role based in Karachi Division. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and configuring ServiceNow applications and integrations to support business workflows and automation. Day-to-day tasks include implementing new modules, customizing existing functionality, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing performance across the ServiceNow platform. The developer collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure high-quality delivery aligned with best practices and security standards. The role also involves maintaining documentation, supporting releases, and continuously improving the platform to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.QualificationsStrong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, with exposure to APIs, integrations, and server-side architectures.Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, preferably with languages commonly used in ServiceNow (such as JavaScript).Solid understanding and practical application of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.Experience developing, configuring, or administering the ServiceNow platform or similar ITSM/ITOM tools.Ability to analyze requirements, design scalable solutions, and write clean, maintainable code.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Familiarity with ITIL processes, agile methodologies, and secure coding practices is beneficial.Effective communication skills and the ability to document technical solutions and processes clearly.
