Learning Support Assistant to support teachers and students with classroom activities, learning tasks, educational resources, student engagement, and individualized academic support.The ideal candidate is patient, organized, encouraging, and able to adapt their approach to different learning abilities and student needs.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport teachers with daily classroom activities, lesson preparation, and learning tasks.Assist students with individual and small-group learning activities.Reinforce lessons and concepts introduced by teachers through appropriate exercises and guided practice.Provide additional support to students who require help understanding instructions, completing assignments, or participating in classroom activities.Assist with differentiated learning activities based on students' abilities, interests, and learning needs.Prepare worksheets, classroom materials, educational resources, displays, and activity areas.Encourage students to participate actively and confidently in learning activities.Support students with reading, writing, mathematics, language, study skills, and other age-appropriate subjects.Help maintain a positive, respectful, inclusive, and well-organized learning environment.Observe student participation, progress, behavior, and learning needs and communicate relevant observations to teachers.Maintain appropriate student-support records, progress notes, attendance information, and classroom documentation.Provide encouragement and positive reinforcement to help students develop confidence and independence.Support students who require additional educational, behavioral, communication, or organizational assistance within the scope of the role.Assist teachers with classroom management and transitions between activities.Support students during educational activities, projects, assessments, group work, and school events.Help ensure learning materials and classroom equipment are safely prepared and properly maintained.Communicate professionally with teachers, school administrators, parents, and guardians when authorized.Support inclusive classroom practices and ensure students are treated fairly, respectfully, and with dignity.Follow safeguarding, child-protection, health, safety, confidentiality, and student-welfare procedures.Assist with online or blended learning activities and help students use approved educational technology.Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, professional-development activities, and educational planning.Identify learning or behavioral concerns and report them promptly through appropriate school procedures.Maintain strict confidentiality regarding student records, family information, academic performance, and personal circumstances.Contribute ideas for improving student engagement, classroom organization, learning resources, and support processes.Follow school policies, curriculum requirements, safeguarding standards, and applicable UAE education regulations.RequirementsBachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Education, Teaching, Psychology, Child Development, Special Education, or a related field is preferred.3+ years of professional experience as a teaching assistant, learning support assistant, classroom assistant, tutor, or education-support professional is preferred.Strong understanding of classroom support, student engagement, differentiated learning, and educational assistance.Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.Additional languages such as Arabic, French, Hindi, Mandarin, or Russian are advantageous.Patient, empathetic, dependable, and student-focused approach.Strong communication, organization, observation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively with students of different abilities, learning styles, and backgrounds.Strong classroom-support and basic behavior-management skills.Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, learning-management systems, and educational technology.Experience with SEN/SEND support, inclusive education, or individualized learning plans is advantageous.UAE or GCC education experience is advantageous.Experience supporting multicultural or multilingual classrooms is advantageous.CACHE, SEN qualifications, teaching-assistant certifications, Montessori, EYFS, QTS,
