Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (On-site/Hybrid)Duration: 8-12 Weeks (Potential Extension)Engagement Type: Contract / Independent ConsultantOverviewWe are supporting a global consultancy that is assessing the feasibility of establishing a Shared Services or Global Business Services (GBS) model.

The client is seeking an experienced transformation leader to lead the assessment, develop the business case, and provide executive-level recommendations on the future operating model.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end Shared Services / GBS feasibility study.Conduct stakeholder interviews across business and functional leadership teams.Assess current operating model, processes, organisational structure, and support functions.Identify opportunities for centralisation, standardisation, and operational efficiency.Develop a robust business case including cost-benefit analysis, investment requirements, and ROI.Design and recommend target operating model options, governance structures, and service delivery frameworks.Define implementation considerations, transition risks, and roadmap recommendations.Facilitate executive workshops and present findings to senior leadership.Lead a small project team consisting of a Manager and Senior Consultant.Candidate Profile15+ years of experience within management consulting, transformation, operations, or enterprise-wide business services.Proven track record leading Shared Services or GBS strategy, feasibility, design, and implementation engagements.Strong experience developing business cases, operating models, governance frameworks, and transformation roadmaps.Experience engaging with C-suite and executive stakeholders.Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities.Previous experience within life sciences, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or other regulated industries is advantageous but not essential.Experience gained within leading consulting firms (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Accenture, Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG, Roland Berger, Oliver Wyman, etc.) or within industry transformation leadership roles.
