The team works to create memorable experiences and lasting relationships with every guest, whether they are starting their day, meeting a client, or unwinding after a workout.Role Description The Shift Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Fortified Brew & Blend in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. This role oversees daily operations during assigned shifts, including opening and closing procedures, managing workflow, and ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The Shift Manager leads and supports the barista team, coordinates breaks, assigns tasks, and provides coaching to uphold service standards and product quality. Additional responsibilities include monitoring inventory, assisting with ordering and restocking, handling cash management and point-of-sale accuracy, and resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally. The Shift Manager also helps implement promotions, supports community-focused initiatives, and reinforces the shop’s mission of hospitality, wellness, and connection.Qualifications Experience in food and beverage or hospitality operations, including shift leadership, staff coordination, and basic cash management.Strong customer service skills, with the ability to create a welcoming environment, manage guest feedback, and build positive relationships.Barista or café experience is highly beneficial, including knowledge of espresso-based drinks, smoothies, and food handling best practices.Organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks, manage busy periods, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.Ability to train and mentor team members, support performance improvement, and model company values of excellence, health, and community.Comfort working in a health- and wellness-oriented environment, with an interest in coffee, nutrition, and active lifestyles.Reliable availability for full-time work, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.High school diploma or equivalent required; prior supervisory experience in a café, restaurant, or retail environment is preferred.
