Shift Manager - DC Operations

Job Purpose Responsible for 24*7 Data Center Operations by managing electrical, mechanical and IBMS infrastructure, which includes GIS substation, Transformers, MV panels, DG, LT panels, UPS, Battery Banks, SMPS, PDU, Chillers, PAHU, Motors, Lightning arrestors, Earth Pits, Diesel Engines, CPM, VRF, Valves, VFD, Ventilation systems, CHW pipes, Pumps, Hydrant system, Plumbing, Containment, FAS, Fire detection system, FSS, VESDA, WLD, RRS, PAS, CCTV etc…Role Description Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible to ensure 100% uptime of datacenterResponsible for 24*7 DC operationsAbility to work on 24*7 rotational shiftsManage shift team to ensure 24*7 operations and uptime of data centerIdentify opportunities in optimizing energy for better PUEResponsible for Preventive, Predictive & Breakdown maintenanceCoordinate with OEMs/Vendors for routine PM and BM activitiesIncident management, change managementCoordinate with customer for day-to-day activitiesResponsible for daily/weekly/monthly reports to Management and customerResponsible to prepare incident report and RCA Ensure SOP, EOP, MOP being meticulously followed in DC operationsResponsible for statutory complianceCoordinate with Electricity, CEIG, PCB etc… officials whenever requiredManage customer SLA Manage customer escalation on time for closureManage power provisioning and customer delivery Responsible for maintain and manage ISO standardsCoordinate for risk identification, mitigations programsResponsible for training to site team Coordination for audits and compliance requirementResponsible for mechanical safety practices in siteAssets management Responsible for uptime and availability of Data CenterRaise Change request and for site related activityResponsible for PUE & WUE of data centerQualifications and ExperienceEDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (Diploma, Degree, Certification CDCP preferred)Diploma/BE/B-Tech or equivalent in Electrical Engg/ Mechanical EnggRELEVANT EXPERIENCE: (no. of years of technical, functional, and/or leadership experience or specific exposure required)5-8 Years of relevant hands-on experience in data center operationsShould have vast experience in trouble shooting and maintenance of GIS, Transformers, DG, UPS, PDU, Chiller, PAHU, Firefighting systems etc… Experience in handling multiple OEMs/VendorsStrong communication and presentation skillsExcellent problem identification and incident management skillsExposure and working experience in IBMS and DCIM systems
