Americana Restaurants focuses on customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and digital innovation while adapting global dining solutions to local tastes and preferences.Role Description The Shift Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Jiddah, responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts. This role coordinates team members, ensures service and food quality standards are met, and supports a positive guest experience. The Shift Supervisor monitors inventory levels, manages cash handling procedures, and ensures compliance with health, safety, and company policies. The position also involves training and coaching team members, addressing customer feedback, and supporting management with scheduling and shift handovers. The individual in this role helps drive efficient operations and contributes to achieving sales and performance targets.Qualifications Experience in restaurant or retail operations, preferably in quick-service or casual dining environments.Strong team leadership and people management abilities, including coaching, delegation, and conflict resolution.Solid customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries and resolve issues professionally.Basic understanding of inventory control, cash handling, and point-of-sale (POS) systems.Knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and health and safety regulations.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a diverse, fast-paced environment.Organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple tasks during busy shifts.Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.Previous supervisory experience and familiarity with international restaurant brands are advantageous.High school diploma or equivalent; further education in hospitality or business is a plus.
