This role oversees daily routines such as opening and closing procedures, monitoring inventory, and ensuring adherence to Starbucks standards for quality, safety, and cleanliness. The Shift Supervisor coordinates partner deployment, guides the team in delivering a consistent and friendly customer experience, and helps resolve routine operational and customer issues. This position also supports training, provides real-time feedback to partners, and helps drive sales and store performance through efficient workflow and strong in-store communication.Qualifications Experience in retail, restaurant, or customer-facing environments, with the ability to provide welcoming, efficient, and consistent service.Basic leadership skills, including overseeing shift activities, giving clear directions, and supporting team performance.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with partners and engage customers professionally.Organizational and time-management skills for coordinating tasks, managing shift priorities, and handling cash and inventory accurately.Ability to learn and follow operational procedures, including food safety, cleanliness standards, and compliance requirements.Willingness to work a flexible full-time schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior supervisory experience is an advantage but not required.Commitment to an inclusive, respectful workplace aligned with Starbucks’ mission and values.
