For our client we are looking for a Ship Broker (Sale & Purchase).About the Company:They are an established shipbroking company with a 13-year track record, specialising in Sale & Purchase transactions. Operating from three international locations, the company continues to expand its geographical reach and has built a strong portfolio of major long-standing clients.As part of its next stage of growth, the company is looking for a broker who can strengthen its international presence and help develop new markets. Their strategic ambition is to build a fully established international shipbroking house within the next five years.Key Responsibilities:Provide Sale & Purchase brokerage services, supporting transactions throughout the entire deal cycle.Monitor the market and analyse vessels available for sale, pricing trends and overall market conditions.Identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing clients and partners.Expand the company’s presence in new regional markets.Lead negotiations and manage transactions through to successful completion.An established professional network within the industry would be a significant advantage, although it is not an essential requirement.Candidate Profile:Previous experience in ship Sale & Purchase or chartering would be an advantage.Fluency in English, Russian is a plus.The ability to assess situations quickly, communicate clearly and engage confidently with clients and counterparties.Persistence, commercial drive and the ability to manage opportunities systematically through to completion.Knowledge of one of the company’s target markets or a strong professional network within the maritime industry would be a significant advantage.Tact, diplomacy and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients from different countries and cultural backgrounds.Location & Relocation:The position is based at the company’s office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.The company provides relocation support, including a flight to Dubai, accommodation for the first month and medical insurance. Compensation:The starting basic salary is depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.A significant part of the broker’s overall earning potential comes from commission on completed transactions; the commission structure and level will be agreed individually with the successful candidate.For an candidate with substantial experience, an established client portfolio and a proven track record, the company is prepared to consider a higher starting fixed salary. Interview Process:1.  Screening interview with the recruiter.2.  Interview with the hiring manager.3.  Final interview with the company's two shareholders.The client is ready to move quickly, with no timeline constraints.
