Job OverviewReports to: Department SupervisorLocation: Garden Grove, CAType: Full-TimeSchedule: 2nd Shift (3:30pm - 12:00am)Job SummaryResponsible for packaging parts for shipment/transport.Measure, weigh, and count products and materialsExamine and inspect containers, materials, and products in order to ensure that packing specifications are metEnsure that all documentation is kept with the materialsRecord product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and recordsSeal containers or materials, using stretch wrap, tape, and other packaging materialsAssemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers using hand toolsClean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand toolsFollow instructions from supervisor pertaining to specific instructions or tasksEnsure integrity of parts after processing (damage, scratches, etc.)Visually inspect parts to ensure the process has been completed correctlyPerform other duties as assignedSkills & AbilitiesEducation: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): RequiredOther Physical RequirementsVision (Near, Distance)Sense of Sound - Able to hear average conversationSense of TouchAbility to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - Safety GlassesStanding for long periods of time BenefitsCompensation Range $16.90 - $19.00 (DOE) + Shift differentialMedical, Dental, Vision, Employer Paid Basic Life, Supplemental Life Insurance, 401k with Employer MatchGenerous Paid Time Off program8 Holidays and 1 Floater HolidayWORK ENVIRONMENTThe majority of work is performed in a manufacturing setting.This position requires access to knowledge and technical data regulated by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
