Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Responsible for sample receipt, logging, and distribution, along with fulfilling shipments requests, and managing inventories in a fast-paced lab environment.Essential FunctionsReceive, log, and assign incoming samples to the appropriate lab with accuracy and timelinessExecute and manage kit shipments from customer requestsMaintain organized inventory and storage to support uninterrupted operationsMonitor daily workflow and reporting to keep operations efficient and on trackSupport customer inquiries and other site shipping tasksRole RequirementsStrong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detailExperience with data entry, tracking systems, and inventory toolsAble to shift priorities quickly based on business and customer needsAbility to effectively communicate internally and externally with customers and scientific associatesStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to interface across all functions/teamsSense of urgency to achieve resultsProficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Power PlatformFamiliarity with shipping processes and documentation (domestic and international)Experience working in a chemistry or other physical science laboratory preferred.Environmental RestrictionsAbility to perform essential job duties in both indoor and outdoor environments, including offices, facilities, and external job sites.Regular exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, dust, moving equipment, and uneven terrain.Physical requirements may include sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, and operating tools or equipment as necessary to perform job responsibilities.Regular attendance and adherence to company safety policies are required.In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and applicable state laws, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
