Shipping and Receiving ClerkAmerican Cable & Harness | Electronic Technologies InternationalFort Atkinson, WISummaryAs part of the materials team, this position is responsible for all aspects of shipping and the stockroom.Must have good organizational skills with the ability to maintain a systematic and accurate approach toinventory control. Must be able to work independently, shift priorities as needed, and work well withothers.Primary RoleReceive raw material from Receiving Inspection (RI) into the ShopworX ERP system and inventory in the proper bin location in the stockroomPrioritize, pull, and fill shop orders for the production floorVerify material at the completion of the shop order and return it to the assigned stockroom locations as neededMaintain 100% inventory accuracy, including daily cycle countingCreate and maintain efficient organization of all materials, including newly acquired parts for new product introductions (NPI)Ensure material flow is consistent with FIFO guidelinesIdentify, justify, and reconcile inventory discrepancies. Prepare MRRs for lost or damaged inventory per applicable company policiesIdentify and isolate obsolete material and forward to Management for review and dispositionPackage and prepare daily shipments in accordance with customer requirementsWork within the ShopworX ERP system to create the open order report and customer packing slipsPrepare bills of lading and schedule freight pick up as neededNavigate web based portals to schedule customer shipmentsMust be able to lift up to 40 lbs and up to 70 lbs with assistanceOther duties may be assignedPosition RequirementsIdeal candidate would have 2 years of experience in shipping, stockroom, or inventory control, but arewilling to train 100% with right candidate.Preferred SkillsProficient in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and web browser softwareExperience in a fast-paced, frequently changing environmentInterpersonal skills and relationship buildingCommunication and cross-functional collaborationWe Make it EasyFounded in 1901, MRA is a nonprofit employer association that serves more than 4,000 employers, covering more than one million employees.As one of the largest employer associations in the nation, MRA helps its member organizations thrive by offering the most comprehensive assortment of HR services, information, education, and resources to help build successful workplaces and a powerful workforce.We partner with these companies working directly with their HR department and leadership to hire their talent.
