Our goal is to develop your skills and ensure that you can take increasingly more responsibility of our shipping operationsThis position can be based either in our Aalborg office (NOVI Forskerpark) or at our headquarters in Lyngby, located close to DTU.As a Shipping Assistant you role will be:Manage export shipments end-to-end, including bookings, freight quotations, transport documentation, invoicing, and shipment follow-upCoordinate import activities, including customs clearance, transportation arrangements, and supplier/customer pickupsCommunicate effectively with customers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders via email and phonePrepare and maintain trade compliance documentation, including Binding Tariff Code applications, dangerous goods documentation, and official certificatesCollaborate closely with Finance, Warehouse, Sales, and international offices to ensure smooth order fulfillment and logistics operationsAs a Shipping Assistant your skills and qualifications will ideally include:Relevant educational background in Shipping, Logistics or Supply Chain and/or some experience from similar jobYou read, speak and write English on a high levelExperience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and CRM system (preferably Dynamics 365).You see yourself as customer service minded and in general have strong relational skillsProficient with handling and analysing dataHow to applyApply right here on LinkedIn by sending a CV outlining your relevant experience and ideally also includes a few lines about your motivation for the role.Your future workplaceAt Cobham Satcom we actively develop technology that keeps people safe and connected both at land and sea when it matters the most.
