You will learn the group's customised shipping agency software, support its implementation across offices in Africa, and train employees to use new systems and processes effectively.This opportunity is particularly suited to someone already based in the UAE who combines practical shipping agency experience with strong process improvement, communication, and training skills.What You'll Be DoingAct as the key business stakeholder for the implementation of a new operational system across the group's shipping agency offices.Learn the organisation's customised software and support its rollout across multiple locations in Africa.Train employees on new systems, processes, standard operating procedures, and working practices.Analyse existing workflows, identify gaps and bottlenecks, and recommend practical improvements to operational efficiency and service delivery.Develop and maintain process maps, workflows, standard operating procedures, and supporting business documentation.Work with department heads, operational teams, external vendors, and technology partners to support implementation and change management.Conduct process reviews and audits, monitor performance, and prepare clear recommendations for continuous improvement.Maintain accurate records of system implementation progress, process changes, risks, and improvement initiatives.About YouYou have at least three years of experience in the maritime industry, including essential experience within a shipping port agency environment.You understand shipping agency processes and can apply this operational knowledge when reviewing workflows and implementing systems.You have experience delivering training, explaining processes clearly, and supporting employees through operational change.You are comfortable travelling regularly to Africa to support implementation across the organisation's offices.You can work independently, engage effectively with multicultural teams, and build productive relationships across different functions and locations.You have experience in business process management, operations, continuous improvement, process mapping, or workflow optimisation.You hold a relevant degree or diploma in business administration, operations management, industrial engineering, supply chain management, mathematical finance, or a related field.Technical or IT expertise is not essential, as the customised operational software will be learned after joining.
