We are looking for experienced Shipping Supervisors to lead shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. These roles are responsible for ensuring customer shipments are completed accurately and on time while managing transportation costs, warehouse operations, safety, quality, and team performance.Available ShiftsDay Shift – 6:00 AM to 2:00 PMThe schedule will be either Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday.Evening Shift – 2:00 PM to 10:00 PMThe schedule will be either Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the day-to-day operations of the shipping, receiving, and warehouse team.Coordinate customer shipments and transportation carriers using SAP, ensuring deliveries are planned efficiently and cost-effectively.Manage finished goods storage and optimize internal and external warehouse capacity.Schedule staffing and resources based on production and shipping requirements.Monitor departmental costs and support warehouse budget targets.Lead, coach, and develop employees within a unionized environment.Maintain strong labour relations and ensure compliance with the collective agreement and employment and safety regulations.Champion health and safety standards and address hazards or unsafe practices.Ensure food safety and quality requirements are maintained, including HACCP and GMP standards.Participate in site meetings, audits, and annual physical inventory counts.Work closely with production, logistics, planning, and other departments to keep operations running smoothly.Key Qualifications College diploma or university degree, preferably in Materials Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.3–5 years of supervisory experience in distribution, shipping, warehousing, or logistics.Experience working in a unionized environment.Previous experience in food manufacturing or food distribution is an asset.Knowledge of transportation and freight operations.Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.Working knowledge of health and safety, HACCP, GMP, and food safety practices is an asset.The salary range for this role is $70K-$85K.
