Its shore-based staff includes experienced former seafarers and managers, supported by advanced training facilities and simulators at Western Maritime Academy, along with agency and technical support services.Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, offering ship jobs at various positions across different vessel types and operational needs. Day-to-day responsibilities may include safe operation and maintenance of ship systems, adherence to international maritime regulations, and active participation in onboard safety and environmental protection procedures. Depending on the position, tasks may involve navigation, engine room operations, cargo handling, deck work, documentation, and coordination with shore-based teams. Crew members are expected to follow company and vessel policies, maintain high standards of performance, and participate in training and drills to ensure readiness and compliance. The role requires collaboration with diverse crew members, effective communication, and commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.QualificationsRelevant seafaring certifications and licenses in line with STCW requirements for the applied position.Prior experience onboard commercial vessels (deck, engine, or ratings) appropriate to the role.Strong knowledge of ship safety procedures, environmental protection practices, and international maritime regulations.Ability to work in a multicultural team environment, with good communication and interpersonal skills.Physical fitness and medical fitness suitable for seafaring duties, as per maritime health standards.Willingness to participate in ongoing training, simulator exercises, and computer-based learning programs.Basic proficiency in English for technical communication, reporting, and compliance documentation.High level of integrity, reliability, and commitment to maintaining uninterrupted and safe ship operations.
