Shop Assistant

Position Overview We are looking for a reliable, creative, and detail-oriented lady to join Lazizz Signature. The role combines gift packing, food and drink preparation, customer service, stock control, hygiene, and creativity in developing new offerings. Key Responsibilities  Gift & Product Preparation: Prepare stuffed-date gift boxes and other Lazizz products, including packing, wrapping, sealing, labeling, and presentation.  Food & Dessert Preparation: Prepare and serve sandwiches, croissants, wraps, Kashta, Bouza Arabeyye, Knefeh, and other light foods and sweets.  Coffee, Cocktails & Drinks: Prepare coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cocktails, sodas, iced and signature drinks using syrups, sauces, fruits, and other ingredients.  Menu Creativity & Consistency: Suggest new drinks, desserts, sandwiches, combinations, and seasonal ideas while following approved recipes, portions, quality, and presentation standards.  Customer Service, POS & Orders: Welcome customers, process shop and online/mobile orders accurately, recommend products, and support upselling.  Stock & Wastage Control: Manage replenishment and inventory, follow FIFO and expiry dates, and monitor storage, product quality, shortages, and wastage.  Hygiene & Food Safety: Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safe handling and storage, cleaning, and cleanliness of equipment and preparation areas.  Daily Shop Operations: Support opening, closing, mise-en-place, cleaning, restocking, and a welcoming, well-organized shop environment. Candidate Requirements  Friendly, proactive, presentable, creative, organized, dependable, and able to work flexibly across shop duties.  Good spoken and written English is essential; Arabic and/or Russian is an advantage.  Food-preparation and food-hygiene experience is preferred; previous barista or café experience is a strong advantage.  Must hold valid UAE residence status and be legally eligible for the required work permit during probation; a company-sponsored employment visa may be provided after successful probation, subject to approval and UAE regulations
