This Cake Shop Supervisor position is one such opportunity based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.Role Description The Cake Shop Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role oversees daily shop operations, including managing staff schedules, coordinating front-of-house and bakery activities, and maintaining high standards of product quality and presentation. The supervisor monitors inventory, coordinates with suppliers, and ensures that display cases are stocked and attractive throughout the day. They handle customer inquiries and concerns, support sales and promotional activities, and ensure that hygiene, safety, and food-handling standards are consistently followed. The role also involves training team members, tracking performance, and assisting with basic reporting on sales, costs, and customer feedback.QualificationsExperience supervising a retail food or bakery environment, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle guest feedback professionally.Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and basic bakery or confectionery operations.Organizational and time-management skills to coordinate staff schedules, inventory, and daily workflows.Basic numerical and reporting skills for tracking sales, costs, and stock levels.Previous experience in a cake shop, bakery, café, or similar setting is highly beneficial.Ability to work on-site full time in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, including weekends and peak periods as needed.Proficiency in English & Arabic.
