The organization values innovation, practicality, and user-centered product development.Role Description This is an on-site Shopify App Developer role based in Delhi, India. The Shopify App Developer will design, develop, and maintain custom Shopify apps that integrate marketplaces, dropshipping workflows, and courier services with UNICSI’s SaaS platform. Daily responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code; building and consuming APIs; configuring and extending Shopify functionality; troubleshooting and resolving technical issues; and optimizing app performance and security. The role also involves collaborating with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions, testing and documenting features, and supporting deployments and updates. The developer will work closely with operations and client-facing teams to ensure integrations run smoothly and user needs are met.Qualifications Strong proficiency in relevant web technologies for Shopify app development (such as JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, or Ruby) and familiarity with modern frameworks.Experience with Shopify platform tools, including Shopify APIs, webhooks, themes, and app extensions, and understanding of eCommerce workflows.Skills in building and integrating RESTful or GraphQL APIs, with attention to data security, performance, and reliability.Solid knowledge of databases (SQL or NoSQL), basic cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP, or similar), and version control systems like Git.Ability to write clean, maintainable, well-documented code and to debug, test, and optimize existing solutions.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams on-site.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience with logistics, marketplace integrations, dropshipping, or SaaS products is a plus, along with familiarity with agile development practices.
