Location: Ajman, UAELanguage Requirement: Arabic and EnglishJob SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Shopify Developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience to manage, develop, optimize, and continuously improve our e-commerce websites.The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Shopify, Shopify Liquid, and Shopify Plus, with a solid understanding of e-commerce performance, technical SEO, UX, integrations, and troubleshooting.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, customize, and maintain Shopify and Shopify Plus stores.Build and modify Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON.Create custom sections, templates, blocks, and reusable components.Customize product, collection, cart, checkout, landing, and content pages.Work with Shopify metafields, metaobjects, tags, collections, product variants, and custom data structures.Manage and troubleshoot Shopify apps and third-party integrations.Integrate APIs, payment gateways, tracking tools, CRM systems, ERP systems, marketplaces, and marketing platforms when required.Optimize website speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile performance, and overall technical performance.Identify and resolve bugs, broken links, redirects, duplicate pages, crawl issues, indexing issues, and technical errors.Work closely with the SEO team to implement technical SEO recommendations.Implement and maintain:Canonical tagsSchema markup / structured dataMeta tagsRobots.txtXML sitemapsRedirectsHreflangInternal linkingImage optimizationPage-speed improvementsEnsure websites are properly structured for Google Search, AI search engines, and modern SEO requirements.Support Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Google Merchant Center, and other tracking implementations.Analyze website issues and recommend practical technical solutions.Proactively suggest new Shopify features, automation opportunities, integrations, and improvements.Collaborate with e-commerce, SEO, marketing, design, content, and marketplace teams.Test developments across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices before deployment.Maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented code.Monitor website health and resolve urgent technical issues when required.Required QualificationsMinimum 3+ years of professional Shopify development experience.Strong experience with Shopify Liquid.Practical experience with Shopify Plus.Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JSON, and responsive development.Experience customizing Shopify themes and developing custom Shopify functionality.Strong understanding of Shopify architecture, products, collections, variants, metafields, and metaobjects.Good understanding of APIs and third-party integrations.Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.Good understanding of technical SEO.Strong understanding of website performance and Core Web Vitals.Ability to independently investigate technical problems and propose solutions.Strong attention to detail.Comfortable working in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.Preferred / Additional SkillsWordPress / WooCommerce experience is a plus.Experience with Git and version-control workflows.Experience with Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager.Experience with Google Merchant Center.Experience supporting multilingual and multi-country Shopify stores.Understanding of CRO and e-commerce UX principles.Familiarity with international SEO and hreflang implementation.Experience working with ERP, CRM, marketplace, or inventory integrations.Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who is not only able to execute development requests but also analyze the website, identify opportunities, and proactively recommend better technical solutions.The candidate should be comfortable challenging inefficient processes, suggesting new technologies, improving website performance, and supporting business growth through better e-commerce development.
